Playground Complete at Academy of Warren
As part of our larger, ongoing project at Academy of Warren, we’re excited to announce the student-designed playground is complete!
The coolest thing about this playground? The students themselves designed it during a “Design Day.” Playground experts from Leathers and Associates took the ideas and drawings from the kids and created an official master plan. It was quite the team effort, but Technology GC worked alongside Equity Schools, Sachse Construction, AOW staff, teams of professional carpenters, droves of community volunteers, and of course the playground experts from Leathers & Associates - all working together to make this one-of-a-kind playground come to life.

The project includes the renovation of a 25,000-square-foot fieldhouse dome with a gym and indoor turf field, an outdoor athletic field and an outdoor combination tennis and basketball court. In addition to the playground project, a separate $9.7 million revitalization of the AOW’s campus is planned. The remodeling includes approximately 100,000 square feet of interior updates.
